About Us

An Ounce of Prevention® (AOP): A national leader and provider of health education, disease awareness, screening and wellness program services since 1999. AOP has educated and serviced hundreds of thousands of individuals in the community, medical and corporate sectors.

In 2010, AOP expanded and creatively collaborated our health education services with alternative fundraising resources to educate school children, parents and civic leaders about common health issues and preventive care measures. Our school and community programs focus on common health issues and preventive care while incorporating key values of responsibility and giving.

Our goal is to ensure our educational efforts will be on-going, reciprocal and contributory in nature as it relates to the future successes of our children and to positively impact the health and well-being of those we service.
